Read of recent problems with fabrication/breakage. None noted buyt need test further. Walther P99 stuff is very expensive, and getting harder to find. Found the best pricing here.

Base Plate Cracks

I purchased 2 of these to replace my factory mags that failed after 30 rounds with a broken base plate. They failed within 30 rounds each with a broken base plate. They feed great and keep the slide open when the magazine is empty as they should. But they are not much use when they break so fast. until Walther fixes these DO NOT BUY.

These magazines work flawlessly in our early issue Walther P99 .40S&W. Only difference between these magazines and our pistol''s originals is a blue plastic follower, rather than an orange plastic follower. Exterior is the same blued finish.
