I own 3 Walther''s - P99 QA, P99C QA and the PPS all are in .40 S&W . IMO they are the best handguns I have and I have about 50 handguns virtually every modern caliber made. I have a variety to choose from different manufactures and different models, but I prefer my Walther''s. I fire around 500 - 1,000 rounds every month and the consistency and accuracy can''t be duplicated anywhere.
I conceal carry everyday one of the three, they are an extension of my body. After shooting these weapons for a few years now, I''ve come to believe they can''t be beat, truly great high quality pistols.

The Walther P99 feels so natural in my hand, it''s almost like an extension of my body. I laughed the first time I ever heard somebody say that, but after shooting this for a few years now, I''ve come to believe it and will tell that to others. A great, high quality pistol.

I have had this weapon for a couple of years now, and I must say that it is the most natural feeling auto that I''ve ever shot. The .40 cal ]what I have[ is a beast, yet I find that reacquisition of the target is very easy. Again, the best word that I''ve found to describe the gun is natural. Once you shoot it, I think that you''ll agree.

Great pistol, fits perfectly in the hand. Breakdown is simple as well, although loading is a bit difficult initially. Very accurate - my .40 groupings are as good as any gun I''''ve shot with. Overall a great gun.

I purchased my Walther P99 QA 40S&W in 2003. Over 3,000 rounds and a check up with S&W. I still carry it often. The early Walther P99''s have outstanding craftsmanship. It came with 2 10 rnd mags as it was the law back then. I have many 12 rnd mags now both Walther & SW99. The full size QA is the only P99 I would consider.
The plastic sights need replacing and quality replacements have always been lacking.
